What happens to your data.

Very little. This site has no tracking cookies and no analytics. The only thing it asks you for is your email address, and only if you join the list.

Visiting the site

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page asked for. This is necessary to run a website, and the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a site that works and stays safe (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you or to build a profile.

The email list

If you join the list, your email address and the time you signed up are stored by Kit (Kit, formerly ConvertKit), the service that sends the letter. You first get an email asking you to confirm; nothing is sent to you until you do. Kit also records whether a letter was opened and which links were clicked.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the link at the foot of every letter, or by writing to us. Your address is deleted from the list when you leave.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Kit are based in the United States, so data may be processed there. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to mail@flowdayz.com.
